Reflection: Third Grading Period

Throughout the third grading period, I would say I learned what retained in my mind, the other subjects were fun especially Science, which was about evolution, and it’s fun. Secondly, the Community-Based Project in the ICT subject is enjoyable as well. We were able to research something about our community, whether its popular landmarks or its hidden gems. And it was really fun and informative at the same time knowing all that information and on top of that, it made me realize that I don’t really know my place that much. Many histories have taken place and hidden gems. When I was working on this, for a moment, I experienced the past, as if I am living in that time.

Unfortunately, we were faced again with the constant problems that we experienced during the previous periods. If I am being totally honest, I think that students learned less during this quarter compared to the last two quarters because as the school year progress, their motivation continues to lessen and let’s not forget the constant procrastinations accompanied by laziness. Of course, they try to be productive as they can but it only leads to further disappointment because of the inability to do so. But there’s a saying that if there’s a will, there’s a way. I’ll continue to be more determined and motivated as I can to really accomplish these.
